Come and enjoy an invigorating afternoon of music-making guided by an experienced vocal coach and see how much you can improve your sound and develop your confidence.
Renowned singer and choral trainer, Deborah Miles-Johnson, will lead a session on vocal techniques to develop each individual’s voice and create a focused quality sound, in particular –
- breathing technique
- improving tone and projection
- how to keep pitch
- blending voices for better ensemble
- developing confidence in your voice
She will use passages from Vaughan Williams ‘Sea Symphony’, and other short pieces to help us produce a focused, quality sound and perform it with the best possible tone.
The workshop has been organised by Islington Choral Society for its members, but is open to all singers.
Saturday 7 June 2014 2.15pm–5.30 pm
Tickets only £10 (£12 on the door subject to available space)
