We have a terrific orchestra and superb soloists booked for our King’s Lynn concert on Monday 13 July.
The venue, St Nicholas Chapel, is a marvellous big venue with a great acoustic. It will be enormous fun and a rare opportunity to perform our concert repertoire a second time (the repertoire will be the Stanford and the Carter from our London concert on 4 July).
EVERYONE is welcome to come and join us. You don’t need to have told us you are coming, new members will be especially welcome to enjoy this trip. But we do need to have at the very least 50 singers to make the music work. It looks like we will make it, but we’re still close to that mark, so it would be really good if a few more of you felt like signing up. All it will cost is the travel up to King’s Lynn – about £28 by train, roughly £12-15 if you take the coach we are organising, or if you drive it’s about 2 hour 30 minutes from London.
IF YOU DIDN’T complete a Questionnaire at the rehearsal last week – or couldn’t make the rehearsal – please go to the ICS Google Group web page by following this link and look at the information sheet with full details called “KINGS LYNN FESTIVAL CONCERT Info sheet.doc”; then fill in the simple
